Many Grasslands have been ruined by the ā€œmodernization of agricultureā€. They are treated with chemical fertilizers, re-seeded with fast-growing grasses, or plowed up to plant crops. This is a problem because if this continues, soon all of the grasslands will disappear. A good thing is that governments have banned hunting some grassland animals such as bison. Also the government is becoming more aware of the grassland problem and has started protecting them.

The promblem is we are not fixing the problems that are on our footsteps and the damage is all ready being done. The human are plowing the plants that are native to the grassland and planting crop in the place of the native plants. The human are not planting back plant to the grassland plants. We are killing all the grassland animals .We are not allowing animals to come back to a stable population. We are just killing them to a point of no return.

Some solutions to these problems would be replanting the grasses that they have planted crops over. Another solution is that they should just leave all the grasslands alone and let them grow back to what they were before humans touched them. We should also be protecting more animals that live in the grasslands. We should not touch the grasslands unless we have to. We should have different farming areas.external image p122781-Custer_South_Dakota-Bison_bull_at_Custer_State_Park.jpg
